Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a closely related field;
(AND)
Experience:
Two (2) years of professional human resources experience in recruitment and selection, benefits, risk management, or employee relations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses, Certifications, and Equipment:
A valid State driver's license is required.

- Retirement - Participation in the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS). Tier I Employees hired before 10/3/11: CalPERS 2.7% at 55; Classic members with less than 6 months separation: CalPERS 2% at 55, single highest year plan. New members, CalPERS 2% at 62, three highest year average plan.
- Health Insurance
- The City contributes $1,125.00 (Employee Only), $1,289.00 (Employee+1), or $1,724.00 (Employee+Family) for medical, dental and vision premiums.

- Administrative Leave - 80 hours annually, upon hire; accrued annually July 1st of every fiscal year.

- 13 holidays, plus 18 hours of floating holiday time.
