The Communications and Marketing intern will play a key role in promoting the MEMIC internship program by creating engaging content that showcases its value and highlights the experiences of current interns. Additionally, the intern will assist in executing special projects as assigned, contributing creative solutions and supporting team objectives to achieve overall marketing and public relations goals.

  • Produce engaging video content for multiple platforms
  • Act as the PR/Marketing contact for the MEMIC internship program, creating intern takeover videos, testimonials, and coordinating national intern day coverage.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination for the Annual Meeting of Policyholders and the Eastern Region Quarterly Meeting
  • Other special projects as assigned by the Communications department.
Requirements:
  • Must be pursuing an Associate's degree or above.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • The ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
  • Excellent writing capabilities with the ability to synthesize data and information into understandable written, graphic and verbal presentations.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and collaborative skills are a must.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Basic video editing skills.
