The IT Quality Assurance Intern will collaborate with other interns on a project designed to provide experience within the Software Development Life Cycle, working as part of an Agile team. While software development skills are not required, interns interested in exploring test automation will have the opportunity to gain experience in scripting tests, updating scripts, executing tests, and analyzing test results.
We welcome students from all degree majors who are interested in breaking into IT.
Understand and analyze project requirements for comprehensive test coverage. Develop test plans and strategies. Create and maintain manual and automated test cases. Execute tests, document results, and ensure thorough testing. Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Assist with developing and executing automated tests. Generate and present test status reports and metrics. Participate in process improvement initiatives. Requirements:
Must be pursuing an Associates degree or above. We will consider all degree majors if a student is interested in breaking into IT. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Interest in software development, quality assurance or test automation. Must have the ability to report, analyze and communicate test results. Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite. Must be self-disciplined with the initiative to work independently and know when to ask for help or clarification. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must have strong communication skills.
