Lead Electrical Engineer

Selectek is seeking highly experienced Electrical Engineers for a senior role on a contract-to-permanent basis. Our partnering company, located near Alpharetta, Georgia, needs candidates with strong backgrounds power and lighting distribution  to oversee commercial and transportation projects. Employment Type: Contract to Permanent Expected Pay Range: $45-$62.50 per hour before transition to salary Location: Alpharetta, Georgia Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) - PE License in hand or in process - Ten-plus years of plan production experience for commercial or transportation power and lighting distribution - Proficiency with Revit software and knowledge of some other design software systems - Ideal candidates have experience in telecommunications, electronic security systems, intercom/public address systems, audio/visual, or other special systems. In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation. Job Details: - Lead electrical engineering of multiple projects simultaneously from concept through construction - Investigate existing electrical systems to determine the scope of work - Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to complete construction drawings and electrical system designs including device layout, power circuiting, lighting design, and panel schedules. - Support the engineering, production, and design of power and lighting systems for commercial and transportation projects - Perform complex analysis, calculations, designs, and inspections for your area of technical expertise - Detail scope of work, inspect sites, and review requirements to ensure safety and quality - Work with multi-disciplinary teams including architects, interior designers, and civil engineers. - Interface with clients to present design concepts, discuss and determine solutions, and provide customer service For more information on this opening, apply via the link or email an up-to-date resume to jfairbanks@selectek.com referencing this job posting!
