Job Title: Technology Designer/RCDDJob Description We are seeking an experienced Technology Designer Senior /Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) who will design and develop layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. The candidate will assist in the production of detailed schematics, evaluate the feasibility of design ideas, and present designs and reports to clients or design committee for review. The position requires extensive knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes, along with experience in a variety of building and power systems' concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Responsibilities Design and develop layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. Assist in the production of detailed schematics. Evaluate the feasibility of design ideas. Present designs and reports to clients or design committee for review. Essential Skills Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Extensive knowledge of electrical equipment and local building codes Experience in electrical designs of healthcare, medical office building, commercial, municipal, federal, state, and/or office buildings Ten or more years of experience in the relevant field Additional Skills & Qualifications LEED, CEM, or LC preferred Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite Work Environment The work environment involves working with various technologies including Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite. You will be expected to adhere to local building codes and regulations while utilizing a high degree of creativity and latitude. The role encompasses working on a diverse range of buildings such as healthcare, medical office buildings, commercial, municipal, federal, state, and office buildings. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $140000.00 PTO, Health benefits, 401k, hybrid work days, half days Friday, this is a salaried, full-time in-office position, 40-hours per week Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.
