This role will be located at Discovery Land Company's Corporate Office in Beverly Hills, California.

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Executive Assistant for our Administrative Department.

As an Executive Assistant at Discovery Land Company, you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch administrative support. Our Executive Assistants are critical in supporting high-level executives and ensuring the smooth functioning of the executive office. You should have a proven record of C-Suite support, ideally supporting multiple executives concurrently. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management:
    • Effectively manage the executive's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, ensuring optimal use of time.
  • Communication:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling emails, phone calls, and correspondence on behalf of the executive.
    • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Travel Coordination:
    • Arrange and coordinate complex travel itineraries (both domestic and international), including flights, hotels, transportation, and visa arrangements.
  • Confidentiality:
    • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Project Support:
    • Provide support on various projects, conducting research, preparing reports, and coordinating with team members.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
    • Act as a liaison between the executive and other team members.
  • Expense Management:
    • Manage and reconcile expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Organize and coordinate corporate events, conferences, and executive-level meetings.
  • Other:
    • Provide backup support to other Executive Assistance
    • Other administrative responsibiliites (including some personal requests) as needed


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a C-Suite Executive Assistant or similar.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in office software and communication tools.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The compensation for the position is: $90,000-$115,000.
