Overview
The Long Island office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the "Best Companies to Work For" among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking a Professional Liability Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of commercial and/or civil litigation defense experience. Experience handling Professional Liability claims or matters in the Commercial Division courts is preferred but not required. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage all aspects of case files from inception through resolution. Communicate with insurers and clients. Handle a wide array of professional liability matters, including malpractice claims against attorneys, insurance agents/brokers, accountants, and real estate agents.
Qualifications
The total annual compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of defense litigation experience
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted in NY
- Superior academic credentials
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
