Position Overview:
The Fractional Marketing Director will be responsible for creating, executing, and overseeing strategic marketing initiatives designed to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales for our roofing company. This part-time or contract role will allow you to work flexibly while making a significant impact on our marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Marketing Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the roofing industry, focused on lead generation, customer retention, and brand awareness.
- Digital Marketing Leadership: Oversee and optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), email campaigns, and social media management.
- Traditional Marketing: Manage traditional marketing efforts, including direct mail campaigns, local print advertisements, and community outreach.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all marketing channels, including digital platforms, customer communications, and marketing materials.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, operations) and external vendors/agencies to align marketing initiatives with business goals. Provide leadership and guidance to marketing staff and contractors.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze key marketing metrics (leads, conversion rates, ROI) to continuously improve campaign performance and report insights to senior management.
- Competitor Analysis: Keep an eye on industry trends and competitors’ marketing efforts to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on creating marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience, driving trust and long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, or similar role, with experience in the home services, construction, or roofing industry preferred.
- Strategic & Creative Thinking: Strong ability to develop data-driven marketing strategies while being innovative and creative to drive engagement.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Expertise in digital marketing strategies such as SEO, SEM, social media management, and email marketing. Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and CRM platforms is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and manage multiple projects.
- Data-Driven: Experience analyzing marketing performance data, tracking KPIs, and using insights to refine strategies and drive results.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the roofing or home services sector is a plus, but not required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
