As we scale our operations, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Fractional COO to help optimize our operational processes, drive growth, and support our leadership team in delivering superior sales results.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Fractional COO who can work on a part-time or contract basis to oversee and improve the operational efficiency of our roofing sales organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to implement systems, streamline workflows, and ensure the smooth execution of sales processes. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us scale operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy:Partner with the CEO to develop and implement operational strategies that support sales growth, customer acquisition, and overall business objectives.
- Process Optimization:Review and optimize key sales processes, from lead generation to customer onboarding, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Team Support:Provide guidance and support to sales teams, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and processes needed to meet and exceed their targets.
- Sales Performance Monitoring:Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Partner Management:Oversee relationships with roofing contractors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure smooth service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Technology Implementation:Leverage technology to automate processes, improve sales tracking, and enhance customer experience.
- Scalability:Identify opportunities to scale operations and improve capacity as the company grows, particularly in customer service and lead management.
- Financial Oversight:Manage operational budgets, focusing on improving efficiency and controlling costs, while supporting the company’s financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in an operations leadership role, ideally in sales-driven businesses or the construction/roofing industry.
- Experience working as a fractional or part-time executive, or in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and performance metrics.
- Ability to implement scalable operational systems and technology solutions to improve sales efficiency.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive actionable results.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a remote or distributed team.
- Familiarity with the roofing or construction industry is a plus, but not required.
