Search Solution Group is seeking a highly skilled
Fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO)
on behalf of our client, a company specializing in water filtration systems. The Fractional COO will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the company's operational readiness to scale and meet market demands. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with expertise in operations, supply chain management, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management Oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. Manage supply chain and logistics, including sourcing raw materials and overseeing distribution. Streamline processes to improve operational efficiency across all verticals. Strategic Planning and Execution Collaborate with the founding team to develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies. Identify market opportunities and align operational capabilities to meet demand. Scale production and operations to support rapid business growth. Financial Oversight Monitor operational costs to optimize profitability and ensure financial goals are achieved. Align operational decisions with the company's financial objectives and budgets. Risk Management Identify and mitigate risks in supply chain, production, and distribution processes. Develop and implement contingency plans for disruptions, including natural disasters, supply shortages, and market changes. Requirements Include
Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field required. MBA preferred. Experience 10+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, or related industries. Proven track record in scaling operations to support business growth. Experience with supply chain and logistics management, including risk mitigation strategies. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in operational management software and tools. Certifications Lean Six Sigma or similar operational efficiency certifications are a plus. Knowledge Deep understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and logistics. Familiarity with financial oversight in operational decision-making. Key Competencies Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans. Strong leadership and team management skills. Adaptability and resilience in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Additional Information Work Environment:
Fully remote with occasional travel for on-site operations reviews. Reporting Structure:
