The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Greenberg-Larraby, Inc. in a contingent role, providing strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the company's financial success and compliance with regulatory standards.
This is a contingent position.
The CFO will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the overall financial strategy and planning for the organization.
- Preparing financial forecasts and budgets to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Overseeing the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and analysis.
- Managing cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team and the board of directors.
- Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities within the organization.
As a key member of the leadership team, the CFO will have a significant impact on the direction and growth of the company.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably in a contingent and government contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of government contracts and regulations, inclusive of the business development cycle in services.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) & FAR and DFAR Regulations experience.
- Audit standards and experience is preferred.
- Mergers & Acquisitions Experience.
