Why We Have This Role

We are looking for a seasoned leader to run our Global Events Marketing team, reporting to our Head of Brand and Global Campaigns. As Global Events Leader at Qualtrics, you have the track record and vision to turn our growing set of flagship events and related programs into a major strategic lever for the business. You are a highly cross-functional leader who builds positive relationships and support from across the organization.

Our mission is to make people’s working lives simpler, more pleasant, and more productive. Events are responsible for evangelizing that message to our customers, while sparking meaningful and lasting connections. This role is responsible for building a high impact set of strategic and flagship event programs crafted to build excitement for the Qualtrics brand and communicate the value of Qualtrics to global audiences of customers, prospects and developers.

How You’ll Find Success

  1. Strategic Vision: The ability to define long-term strategies and growth plans for global events, ensuring these align with overall marketing and corporate objectives.
  2. Event Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of event functions and trends, with experience in organizing events that range from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, both in-person and virtually.
  3. Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Capability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, demonstrating agility and creative solutions when encountering challenges.
  4. Leadership and Team Development: Skills in leading and developing a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships across various departments (marketing, sales, executives) to deliver successful and cohesive event programs.

Things You’ll Do

  1. Define the strategy, long-term vision, and growth plans for global customer events and programs, while aligning to Qualtrics’s marketing and corporate objectives.
  2. Lead and develop a talented and diverse team of marketers.
  3. Manage corporate event programs from end-to-end, including planning, branding and experience, success metrics, budgets, vendors, project teams, content, audience, agendas, and desired outcomes.
  4. Develop cross-functional partnerships with the extended marketing team, sales, executives, and key partners to deliver world-class event programs.
  5. Drive thought leadership, improve efficiencies, and strengthen impact – while staying current of the latest event trends and technologies to ensure success.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  1. 10+ years supporting successful customer events on a global level, including a minimum of 4 years of managing teams.
  2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, often amidst ambiguity, and with experience managing large P&L for $MM events.
  3. Comfortability in front of Enterprise and C-level audiences, including how to throw a successful event for both.
  4. Breadth and depth across all event functions including experience with events ranging from intimate high touch executive experiences to 20,000+ attendees, both in person and virtually.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills - and a love for working in highly cross-functional environments.
  6. Superb communication and the ability to inspire senior executives, peers, and direct reports with your vision and roadmap.
  7. Strategic thinking with a bias towards action and creative solutions, a player-coach attitude, and willingness to pitch in to help your small team accomplish lofty goals.
  8. Passion for events, marketing, and all things Qualtrics! (Bonus points if you love travel!)

For full-time positions, this pay range is for base per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be included in an employment offer, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, based on eligibility criteria.

Washington State Annual Pay Transparency Range: $213,500—$231,500 USD
