Project Manager - VA Chief, Operations, Security, and Preparedness (OSP) Office

AMSG is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a Dept of Veterans Affairs opportunity we are pursuing in support of the Chief, Operations, Security, and Preparedness (OSP) Office.

The Project Manager will manage a small-scale project encompassing multiple tasks with a total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to the task order.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives under the customer's technical requirements;
• Compile and analyze technical data;
• Advise VA management and customers on complex system projects and activities;
• Work closely with customers to define communication systems and equipment requirements;
• Provide instruction on and perform and document quality assurance reviews.
• Manage deliverables and monthly reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience
• Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness
• Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement

This position is remote, however, it is preferred that the candidate resides in the Washington DC/VA/MD area for occasional in-person meetings with the customer located at the Department of Veterans Affairs at 810 Vermont Ave Washington, DC.
