Business Process Engineer

AMSG is seeking an experienced Business Process Engineer to support a Dept of Veterans Affairs opportunity we are pursuing in support of the Chief, Operations, Security, and Preparedness (OSP) Office.

The Business Process Engineer will support a small-scale project encompassing multiple tasks with a total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to the task order.

Responsibilities

• Perform management and support of the analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse, enterprise-wide processes and application systems.
• Tasks will include the design study process.
• Conduct studies in support of system redesign and business process reengineering, improvement, and management.
• Develop implementation plans; and support the process of implementing and sustaining improvements.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 5 years of Business Process Engineering experience
• Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Knowledge of Emergency Management Operations and Preparedness
• Knowledge of Security and Law Enforcement

This position is remote, however, it is preferred that the candidate resides in the Washington DC/VA/MD area for occasional in-person meetings with the customer located at the Department of Veterans Affairs at 810 Vermont Ave Washington, DC.
