Senior Product Marketing Manager
for
Windows Cloud , you will need to be adept at
equipping sales teams
with the right
tools, resources, and knowledge
to effectively
position Windows 365
and
Azure Virtual Desktop
in the
Enterprise segment , working in
deep partnership
with the
field, MCAPS, GTM, and cross-functional marketing teams . Additionally, you will
define new product offerings
for
key industry verticals ,
partnering
with
developers
and
product marketing
colleagues to
understand
audience, product-market fit, and product interactions . You will
lead key strategies
and investments end to end across
assigned marketing workstreams , as well as planning for
future announcements
and
product launches
in
partnership
with
outbound marketing partners
and other customer- and
public-facing groups
such as
brand and storytelling ,
customer readiness and technical support , and
communications teams . This role is
critical
to
connecting Windows Cloud experiences
across
Modern Work, Windows, and Azure product teams , as well as helping our customers learn about and
adopt
our
virtualization solutions . You will be a strategic thinker, a storyteller, a customer advocate, and a business advocate who can drive growth and adoption for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role with significant opportunity for learning and leadership. Responsibilities
Act as the chief advocate and expert for the Windows Cloud portfolio to seller roles, ensuring alignment on business priorities and solution play. Promote technical and product knowledge across the business, including delivering value proposition, Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop differentiation, and compelling demos. Lead others to compile and evaluate vertical-specific intelligence from market or user research, competitive analyses, and trend reports to identify competitive opportunities in the end-user computing and virtualization space for Windows Cloud solutions and determine critical innovations, features, and experiences to grow the addressable market. Define and execute industry-specific GTM strategies and plans (especially healthcare/HSI, financial services/FSI, Government, and Retail) for customer acquisition, adoption, and renewal of Windows Cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster business growth and align with regional capabilities. Work with other teams to incorporate Windows Cloud value into their plans for expanded reach, as appropriate. Lead regular cadence of strategic discussions with business architects/MCAPS, Modern Work GTM, Azure GTM, and other business groups to drive strategic business planning, execute tactics, gather feedback, and enable field performance. Communicate status, risks, and blockers regularly with extended stakeholder group, and work collaboratively to overcome and iterate or pivot plans to respond to change as needed. Contribute to and influence the long-term product marketing strategy and Windows Cloud roadmap, leveraging a deep understanding of customer, field, and partner needs, aligning with the company vision, mission, and goals. Create and deliver engaging and persuasive content and collateral for various audiences and channels, such as pitches, information sheets, webinars, blogs, videos, white papers, presentations, and sales enablement materials. Partner with others to define experimentation opportunities, success metrics, measurement methodology, objectives & key results (OKRs), and investment roadmap for owned workstreams, tracking performance against success metrics and driving ongoing improvements. Represent Microsoft as a product marketing leader and spokesperson for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop at internal and external events, such as conferences, webinars, podcasts, and media interviews. Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience Product marketing experience in the technology industry, preferably in cloud, software, or SaaS products and services Experience creating and executing successful inbound and go-to-market strategies and plans for complex and innovative products and services Experience with communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to craft and deliver clear, compelling, and differentiated messages and content for various audiences and channels Experience targeting & marketing to customers within financial services, healthcare or retail industries Experience identifying growth opportunities, developing, and executing GTM strategy or sales enablement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience Analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions and actions. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
