Mid to Senior-level Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Mid to Senior-level Litigation Attorney with 6-8 years of experience in handling a variety of litigation cases. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, trial preparation, and client communication, while staying updated with legal developments and attending court hearings. Handle a wide range of litigation cases from inception through resolution. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents. Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations. Stay informed about current legal developments and trends relevant to litigation practice. Analyze, research, and draft briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues including motions to dismiss, summary judgment, class certification motions, writs, and appeals. Develop case strategies, interview witnesses, and gather evidence for trial preparation. Familiarity with courtroom procedures and effective presentation skills. Manage multiple cases simultaneously with strong case management skills, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is organized. Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members. Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines of the California State Bar. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in California and in good standing with the CA State Bar. 6-8 years of experience in litigation, preferably with experience in complex litigation matters. Proven track record in legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Trial preparation experience, including case strategy development and witness preparation. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
