General Summary:
Specific to this role, we are looking for individuals with programming experience focused on interacting with databases, Rest APIs, and automation frameworks. With a large and complex environment, we are looking for an individual who is driven and excited to deep dive into operational processes and design automations to improve operational efficiencies and enable automated self-service services. We are looking for a well-organized self-starter who can create automation workflows and use tools such as PowerBi, PowerPoint, Visio, etc to convey automation design and illustrate efficacies gained.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable self-service automation pipelines and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Requirements:
This is an on-premise position
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Solid experience with programming languages like Python or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
In-depth knowledge and practical experience of Rest APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work in other time zones where the global team is located for project collaboration.
Ability to communicate and provide training for teammates on technologies that you have expertise in.
Understanding of how Operating Systems such as Linux and Windows work.
Understands Git Version Control.
Have familiarity with Enterprise Storage platforms.
Presentation skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.
Solid communication/presentation skills, comfortable presenting to all levels of management and engineering teams.
Drives technical conversations to ensure the right path is followed to project completion.
Collaborates with business partners to identify system solutions or other complex technical information.
Networks with colleagues across the organization to gain insights, ideas, and connections.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
OR
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience.
2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$50.77 - $76.15
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
