A law firm in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a skilled Construction Defect Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience. The selected candidate will assist in handling construction defect cases and providing legal support to clients in this specialized area of law. Duties: Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction defect cases. Assist in drafting legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements. Participate in case strategy meetings and client consultations. Represent clients in mediation sessions and court proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and strategy. Review construction contracts, building codes, and relevant documents. Perform site inspections and investigations related to construction defect claims. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the State Bar of California. 1-6 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on construction defect litigation. Strong legal research and writing skills.
