SharePoint Administrators/End User Support Specialists
to support a mission-critical government project in Washington, DC. This role involves a blend of SharePoint administration, user support, and training responsibilities, ensuring smooth content management and site functionality. The position requires hands-on expertise in SharePoint environments and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities: Collaborate with SharePoint Administrators, Content Managers, and end-users to address content management needs and troubleshoot issues. Engage with customers to gather requirements, record enhancement requests, and resolve system problems. Develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint content and applications in line with established office policies. Create and configure SharePoint sites, pages, and web parts. Conduct beginner, intermediate, and advanced training sessions on SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online. Provide follow-up support by addressing user questions, demonstrating SharePoint functionality, and resolving technical issues. Maintain a knowledge base of technical articles, troubleshooting tools, and guides. Regularly update stakeholders with product news and support information. Manage and resolve support tickets via a web-based tracking tool. Participate in major projects to enhance SharePoint's utility for organizational needs. Required Skills and Experience: Active DoD Top Secret (TS) Clearance with eligibility to obtain and maintain SCI access. Experience providing Tier 2/3 support for SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and SharePoint Online. Minimum of 8 years experience in web, database, and application design, development, and implementation for moderate to complex systems. Proficiency in developing SharePoint and SharePoint Online applications, including custom web parts, master pages, features, and site definitions. Strong ability to package and deploy SharePoint solutions and customize web parts using out-of-the-box functionality. At least 2 years' experience with SharePoint 2013/2019/SE. 5-7 years experience in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Desired Qualifications: Previous experience supporting government projects. Experience in SharePoint training. Certifications in any of the following areas: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCIPT) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) SharePoint 2013/2019 Administration, Development, or Configuration Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
