Job Summary: This position will provide experienced systems analysis and program management support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Years of Relevant Experience: The position requires 10+ equivalent years of experience in government systems analysis, acquisition, or program management roles. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is required. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. may count for additional years of experience. Essential Job Functions: Variety of client-facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions Supply Chain and Network Operations (SCNO) Define and implement enterprise, customer and operating model strategies, while measuring operation performance Advise clients on leading practices, standardized procedures; make recommendations as efficiencies are identified Build models, policies, practices, and procedures for complex value chains Help clients innovate and transform their current business models and customer experiences by leveraging advanced analytics, digital, and cognitive technologies Manage workstreams on large-scale projects in a collaborative environment with client Provide program management support and strategic leadership for the day-to-day solution implementation activities for FAA software acquisition programs Responsible for executing the program cost, schedule, and performance baseline Identify and manage technical, cost, schedule, and programmatic risks Develop risk mitigation strategies and report the risk status monthly to the program manager and stakeholders Review development team technical performance and coordinate corrective action plans as necessary Create monthly status briefings and reports Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus. Skills Required: High level of proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and other MS Office Products. Strong analytical background and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Skills Desired: Knowledge of FAA NAS systems, investment analysis, solution development & implementation Experience managing client relationships Security Requirements: Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years.
