The Director, Regal Rexnord Business System plays a pivotal role in driving organizational change and process improvement to achieve our business objectives. The Motion Control Systems Division within the Automation & Motion Control (AMC) segment is seeking a business and manufacturing professional to drive the implementation and maturity of the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) and continuous process improvement. The Regal Rexnord Business System is a holistic approach to increase profitable growth through customer focus and optimal efficiency in our operations. RBS relies heavily on continuous improvement tools to transform our businesses and meet operational and financial objectives. This position is focused on the deployment of RBS across the Motion Control Systems Division to drive both short and long-term goals and will partner closely with the Motion Control Systems VP/GM, Operations Director and segment RBS team. The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year over year performance improvement. As a key member of the AMC RBS Team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems and ensuring effective problem-solving skills (& tool capability) across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Continuous Improvement & Effective Problem Solving Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives through effective application of the Regal Rexnord Business System tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement. Support Divisions and Site RBS leaders in maturing the Regal Rexnord Business System through the development of skills, capabilities, and engagement driving impact to the next level. Develop, lead and drive CI Roadmap for the division and support the cascading to the sites for directional alignment. Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics. Coach, mentor, and train Regal Rexnord teammates on continuous improvement methods based on Subject Matter Expertise. Ability to both formally train and "stop and teach" while at Gemba. Lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously though both a hands-on and influential approach. Work as an extended member of the AMC RBS team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state. Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance. Leads, guides, and helps create solutions for highly complex and multi-faceted problems requiring ingenuity, creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skills. Problems are unique and require a thorough understanding of operating unit policies and practices. Applies knowledge of different techniques and practices to achieve desired results. Utilizes resources across work areas, departments, and businesses to create solutions. Understands the connection between operational improvements (e.g., machine productivity, labor productivity, lead time/turnaround time, quality, backlog, capacity, OEE, etc.) and financials (Revenue/TVOS, Cost, Cash, Margin) Participates in the development and execution of the division strategic plan and policy deployment activities. Professional Experience/Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; Advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA) 8-10 years relevant work experience across Continuous Improvement, Operations and General Management positions required (global and/or multi-site experience preferred) Project and program management expertise (PMP, Prince II, etc preferred) Proficiency in change management frameworks and application. Technical background in continuous improvement methodology and framework (Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt preferred) Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Lean Leadership, including Daily Management, KPI Leadership, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Transactional Process Improvements, Kanban/replenishment systems, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving, RCCMs. Demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizen-type events to produce measurable improvements (financial, service, quality, etc.) Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions Analytical skills to properly interpret data Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement journey Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience a plus
