Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team, focusing on our initiatives within the Oil and Gas sector. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our IDM initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of industrial data systems, and delivering value to our Oil and Gas clients through efficient project management and technical expertise. Project Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive project plans, defining objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements for our projects Implement and oversee various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Kanban, as appropriate for each project Coordinate with stakeholders to align project scope and goals with business objectives, particularly in the context of industrial data management Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including engineers, geologists, technicians, and control system specialists Facilitate effective communication between various stakeholders, including internal teams, external clients, and regulatory authorities Manage relationships with end-users and control system stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet their needs and requirements Technical Oversight Oversee the integration and implementation of various SCADA platforms in Oil and Gas environments Ensure technical standards and designs comply with customer requirements and industry regulations Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for IDM solutions, guaranteeing they meet user needs and quality standards Risk and Resource Management Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks specific to industrial data management in the Oil and Gas sector Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and system reliability Manage project resources, including human resources, equipment, and budgets, optimizing their allocation for project success Performance Monitoring and Reporting Monitor project progress against established metrics, timelines, and financial KPIs Prepare and present detailed reports on project phases, communicating status updates, issues, and achievements to relevant stakeholders Analyze completed projects to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement in IDM processes Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a focus on Industrial Data Management Proven expertise in various SCADA platforms used in E&P and Midstream operations Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and their application in industrial settings PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM certification or equivalent project management qualification Demonstrated experience in managing complex technical projects involving control systems and end-user stakeholders Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders Proficiency in project management tools, SCADA, DCS, Measurement/Leak Detection and Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of industry standards such as ASME, API, and relevant quality processes Familiarity with AWS or Azure services and cloud-based data management solutions is a plus Experience with skid-packaged equipment and control systems in the natural gas industry Understanding of regulatory compliance in the Oil and Gas sector The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SCADA platforms, experience in both Exploration & Production (E&P) and Midstream operations, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
