Digital Core (DC) plays an integral role in the delivery of the infrastructure services that enable the information technology solutions that drive business processes across the enterprise. DC pursues its services with constant emphasis on running reliably, helping people work smarter, making IT easier, securing information fully, and improving. In close partnership with Cybersecurity, EC is evolving our overall network security capabilities across the enterprise.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Network Solution Engineer your main function is to integrate and support cutting edge network visibility tools, automate repetitive tasks, create and maintain bots, and analytic tools.
How You'll Succeed
Through project leadership, network visibility and automation implementation, and tools management for supporting network infrastructure globally. By understanding tool capabilities across the network services organization and enabling these tools to provide visibility to services, reducing service impact and ensuring quicker response to systemic issues. By collaborating with other service areas (Site Services, Manufacturing, and Lilly Research Labs) to build integration processes and tools between other Digital Core areas, leading to a better customer experience and faster resolution of complicated issues. Ensuring services have controlled processes and procedures to enable effective service delivery. Managing compliance with patching, logging, and other defined security standards. Leverage an agile mindset and framework for the entire solution lifecycle including designing, implementing, automating, modernizing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions. What You Should Bring
A minimum of 2-3 years of network route/switch experience in a large enterprise environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and articulate complex technical concepts. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues. Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience with automation, machine learning, and AI as it related to NetDevOps Experience with network monitoring and visibility tools Your Basic Qualifications
