Lead Strategy Consultant . In this new position, the individual will act as an internal consultant within the organization on a variety of projects and initiatives. We are looking for a data-driven critical thinker who can make educated and appropriate assumptions when data is lacking. The hybrid position will be based in our Lisle, Illinois headquarters and report into our Vice President, Corporate Strategy. Responsibilities
Provide guidance and governance for programs and projects that span the enterprise (this includes conducting strategy workshops, content development support, developing standards and best practices, monitoring progress, and driving projects forward). Maintain continuous alignment of project scope with strategic business objectives. Build credibility and rapport with the stakeholders at multiple levels. Identify process efficiencies by analyzing, re-engineering, and improving business processes across work streams within the organization. Support the Vice President, Corporate Strategy with comprehensive corporate strategic planning aligned with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Assist with additional projects and activities as determined. Lead and conduct analysis to:
Identify trends Characterize operational situations and financial implications Develop hypotheses and recommendations
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of business development, strategy, marketing, finance, operations, engineering, or management consulting experience and at least 2 years of lead experience. OR Master's degree with at least 5 years of business development, strategy, marketing, finance, operations, engineering, or management consulting experience and at least 2 years of lead experience. OR At least 12 years of business development, strategy, marketing, finance, operations, engineering, or management consulting experience and at least 2 years of lead experience. Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of consulting experience. Background in strategy or business development. Ability to manage self and others' work across several work streams on complex projects. Experience with business process improvement analysis, requirements development and documentation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders including business leaders, project leaders, and individual contributors. Comfortable communicating at executive level. Business and operations analytics highly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (pivot tables, modeling, etc.) preferred. Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint capabilities (high first-time quality presentations) preferred. Experience in commercial vehicle and/or disruptive technologies preferred. Company Overview
