Job Title: Automation engineer Hybrid Role
Location: Richmond, VA (Preference for local candidates, hybrid working model)
Duration: 12 months, possibility of extension and conversion depending on work performance and budget
Interview Process: Single round, (30-minutes video interview).

Description:
Looking for an Automation Software Engineer for the Card Tech Partnerships team. The candidate should have a strong background in backend development with a focus on automation testing. This role will involve working on a re-platforming effort, transforming manual testing processes into automated ones.
Responsibilities:
• Work with development teams to understand architectural requirements.
• Develop automated testing solutions using Java, Cypress, and other relevant tools.
• Work towards achieving full automation of testing processes including unit tests, integration tests, and component testing.
• Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to ensure project success.
Requirements:
Preference will be given to candidates located in Richmond who can work onsite with the team at West Creek. However, consideration may be given to candidates willing to relocate.

- Experience in Java programming language.
- Experience with test automation tools Cypress.
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Lambda.
- Experience with Gherkin and Cucumber for behaviour-driven development.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry.
