Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. Maintains respiratory equipment. Assures ventilator and life support equipment are operable. Provide routine respiratory patient assessment.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have at least one year clinical experience in all modes of respiratory care (to include any clinical time spent during educational course).
2. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High School diploma, GED or Higher Education required.
2. Presently enrolled in a CoARC approved School.
3. Experience: Must be involved in the clinical portion of the Respiratory Program of the CoARC approved School.
4. BCLS (CPR) certification at time of hire. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider's Program.
5. ACLS/PALS/NRP according to job assignment within 6 months of receiving NBRC CRT Credential. Certification must be in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA, for Healthcare Provider's Program.
