Job Title: Dental Assistant Full Time

Location: Guardian Family Dental

Position Overview:
Our busy dental practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. If you are detail-oriented, patient-focused, and have experience or a desire to work in a clinical dental setting, we'd love to meet you! This position is for 24-32 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on practice needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up required equipment.
• Take and develop X-rays as needed.
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history information.
• Manage inventory of supplies and report shortages to office manager.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Follow proper infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is an asset, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of dental equipment and materials.
• Proficiency in dental software (experience with [Software Name] preferred).
