Job Summary:

Posterity Group LLC, a Rockville, Maryland-based Healthcare Staffing Agency and a SBA certified Service Disable Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is seeking a Part-time Phlebotomist to support the VAMC in Leeds, MA.

Compensation

• Salary Range of $47,155 to $49,843 (Based on Experience)
• $4.57/hour for healthcare compensations. It could be cash instead of.
• 2 weeks (10 days) Paid Time Off (PTO)
• 11 paid Federal Holidays annually.

Duties

• Perform patient phlebotomy to include inpatient ward rounds, inpatient and outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), STAT, as soon as possible (ASAP), and timed draws.
• Perform sample processing and send out preparation.
• Positively identifies patients prior to sample collection and samples prior to testing or aliquoting.
• Identifies, documents, and resolves any collection, processing, testing, or reporting issues.
• Assures patient-centered care and provides service in a manner that is professional and will avoid complaints from all stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent Phlebotomy experience.
• National Certification preferred.
