What you will be doing: - Assist in overnight safety and security of the lodge.
- Maintains vehicle and garage cleanliness.
- Pulls member storage for arriving members.
- Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and apprehends or expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
- Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
- Is competent regarding emergency procedures including fire alarm procedures.
- Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences, and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment, for use of supervisory staff.
- Performs Reception Host downtime activities.
- Regulates vehicle and pedestrian traffic at plant entrance to maintain orderly flow.
- May pick up luggage from guest units for early morning departures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive on mountain roads in all weather conditions
- Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which will include 4, 10 hour overnight shifts.
