South College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty Member for Medical Assisting at the South College Nashville Campus. The Adjunct Faculty Member will provide instruction for courses needed in Phlebotomy on quarter-by-quarter appointments. Candidate must be familiar with Phlebotomy theory, skills, and special procedures required to meet the venipuncture needs in hospitals, clinical and other health care settings. Sections are available in the day, evening, and on weekends.

Candidates must evidence the following:
- A minimum of an acceptable Bachelor's degree. Must provide a copy of transcript.
- Have completed a program of postsecondary education in Phlebotomy and hold a current Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification in the state of Tennessee. Must provide a copy of certification.
- Minimum of 3 years full time phlebotomy experience in the previous 7 years (venipuncture, blood collection, lab processing, ABG, and special specimen procurement)
- Excellence in postsecondary teaching preferred.
