Job Description
We are offering a contract to hire role as an Administrative Assistant in Altoona. The Administrative Assistant will be expected to handle incoming client calls, follow up outbound calls, and manage documents related to tax paperwork.
Responsibilities:
• Field incoming calls from clients and provide necessary assistance
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls for tax paperwork pick up or information gathering
• Ensure quality assurance on tax paperwork
• Manage document scanning responsibilities
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tax returns with quick turnaround times
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for data entry and email correspondence
• Schedule appointments as required
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.• Proficiency in answering inbound calls is mandatory.
• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently is necessary.
• Skills in email correspondence are essential to manage communication effectively.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls is crucial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing data is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email management and scheduling is a must.
• Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for creating effective presentations is necessary.
