ITI Technical College is hiring: Air Conditioning Technician Trainer in Baton Ro

We are looking for a seasoned technician who enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation. No prior teaching experience required. Salary depends on experience, see salary range below.

You will train students through classroom instruction and hands-on lab exercises. You will also be teaching and mentoring students to do installations, service calls, and repairs on heating and cooling systems using the employer/college curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses within the curriculum of AC to
  • Install new heating,
  • ventilation
  • air conditioning systems
• How to Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• How to Perform routine preventative maintenance
• How to Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• How to Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Certificate or Associate Degree in HVACR or related field
• Must have minimum four (4) years of previous experience in
  • HVAC or other related fields
  • Knowledgeable with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Knowledgeable with Installing and Repairing systems
  • diagnostics
• Mentor students to have strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Work Schedule:

Classes are taught Mornings from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm; and Evenings from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
