About the Job:
The Recruiting and Account Specialist, as part of the Light Industrial Division (LID), is a key role for Express Employment Professionals. In your position, you will have the ability to grow in a variety of activities, with the most important areas being the recruiting, screening and placement of quality people, as well as generating sales by taking job orders from clients and prospects as well as marketing associates to our clients that may have a need for an associate with specific skills.
- The RAS is responsible for transitioning associates from application to interview and interview to placement.
- These candidates are in the light industrial arena and could be warehouse, production, technicians, general laborers, skilled candidates and more.
- This position will carry many responsibilities in the recruiting, servicing and selling categories.
- Recruiting activities include sourcing candidates from job boards, attending job fairs, interviewing, qualifying and completing onboarding, testing and drug screens.
- This position is also responsible for connecting and building relationships with local businesses to market Express and our talent. Activities here would include telemarketing calls, sales follow-up, on-site appointments, customer relationship management, completing quality calls, employment verifications, and more.
- As new accounts are acquired by the Business Development Specialist role, the RAS will interact with clients and become part of the team assigned to manage these accounts. The RAS role is critical to offering a quality product to our clients.
- Additionally, this role is required to document all associate and client information and follow all the procedures required as part of the ISO 9001 Quality process.

- Competitive base salary depending on experience
