Warehouse Manager: Orangeville, Illinois

Our client in Orangeville, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team at their production facility to help produce higher quality food and beverage products for their customers. They are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient and safe practices.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping.
Lead and train warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
Ensure inventory accuracy through audits and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Enforce safety standards and compliance with regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Operate and oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs.
Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
Manage schedules and workloads to ensure timely task completion.
Prepare and report on operational metrics to leadership.

Warehouse Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience operating forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
Prior warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Knowledge of inventory control processes and safety compliance.

Pay for Warehouse Lead: $20-$23/hour
