We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry. The selected candidate will be based in Norwalk, Connecticut, and will be key in providing excellent customer service, handling a multi-line phone system, and ensuring smooth operations at the reception. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries
• Efficiently handle the multi-line phone system, ensuring all calls are answered and directed appropriately
• Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries
• Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Perform all other receptionist duties as required to ensure an organized and efficient workplace.• Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• No prior work experience is required for this position.
• Experience in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance sectors will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in customer service is a must.
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and effectively.
• Familiarity with receptionist duties such as answering calls, greeting visitors, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
