About the Role:

We are seeking a highly professional and organized Receptionist to join our team in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your major end result will be to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our patients feel welcomed and comfortable. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized reception area, managing patient appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and computer systems
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Patience and ability to handle difficult situations
  • Familiarity with FAX machines and office machines

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment schedule
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records
  • Ensure that the reception area is clean and organized

Skills:

As a receptionist, you will use your excellent communication and customer service skills on a daily basis to provide exceptional service to our patients. You will also use your organizational skills to manage patient appointments and maintain a clean and organized reception area. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and computer systems will be essential in managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Additionally, your ability to maintain confidentiality and handle difficult situations with patience will be crucial in ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and secure.

Hours:

  • 8:30am - 5:30 pm

Compensation:

  • $15-$20/ hour dependent on experience
