Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to run mini excavators and full-size excavators to dig trenches for the installation of electrical systems. This role involves operating various types of heavy equipment, including Bobcat equipment (E35-E60 Series) and Bobcat Dozers, to perform tasks such as backfills and grading. Responsibilities Operate mini and full-size excavators to dig trenches for electrical installations. Handle Bobcat equipment and dozers for backfills and grading. Perform excavation, trenching, and digging tasks. Work with underground utilities, construction, cable, and conduit. Utilize grade stakes for grading tasks, no GPS required. Essential Skills Experience operating excavators, dozers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment. Proficiency in excavation, trenching, and digging. Knowledge of electrical installations and underground utilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Interest in electrical work is a plus. Candidates may be considered for an apprenticeship during slower months. Why Work Here? We believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and do not push for excessive overtime. The dress code requires jeans without holes, professional tee shirts, and work boots (steel-toed not required). No cut-off shirts or shorts are allowed. The company provides necessary PPE, including high-visibility vests, hard hats, and safety glasses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
