Role: HARDWARE ENGINEER
Location: HOUSTON, TX (ONSITE)
Employment :- FULLTIME
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Understanding existing schematics and designs
• Understanding various test systems, procedures
• Analyzing, testing, debugging and fixing hardware issues
• Support production by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Addressing, root cause analysis of field issues and documentation
• Work with technicians and support in their activities
• Work closely with other team members including sustenance, quality, systems to address issues and implement corrective actions
Skills:
• BS/MS in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience as a Electrical engineer with deep technical knowledge in analog and digital circuit designs
• Must be strong in debugging electronic circuits comprising power supplies, signal acquisition and conditioning, microcontroller interfaces
• Should have strong knowledge on digital interfaces like I2C, 1553, EEPROM, RAM, RTC etc
• Ability to read and understand the schematics, PCB layout and wiring diagrams
• Hands on experience with IDEs, debuggers, oscilloscope, function generator etc
• Understanding of firmware and test systems software is a plus.
