**Summary**
As an experienced Thermal Engineer, you will be responsible for the thermal design and development for products for the Hardware Product Solutions team. You possess the ability to work in partnership with hardware, software, and other architects within and outside Celestica to define the best in class products.
**Detailed Description**
Responsibility:
+ Leads efforts to advance thermal development by understanding leading edge cooling technologies.
+ Supports and influences the integration of thermal strategy across technical disciplines
+ Expert in thermal design and development for server/storage and network products.
+ Provide high quality thermal solution/response to support RFQs
+ Design robust thermal solutions to meet product specifications, and cooperate with Software team to implement fan speed control strategy.
+ Conduct thermal simulation analysis from board to system level to verify thermal feasibility/risk.
+ Document thermal test plan and perform thermal, air flow/impedance, acoustic measurements.
+ Interface with a multi-disciplinary group to define system requirements, and design products. Experience in working in medium sized multidisciplinary development teams.
+ Interface with heat sink and air mover vendors to keep up to manage cost, quality and functionality.
+ Work with function team to identify root cause of system failure

**Typical Education**
+ Masters degree in Engineering, preference giving to candidates with a Masters degree in Thermodynamic Engineering
