Recruiter:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter to join our HR team. This role will primarily focus on talent acquisition (75%) while also contributing to various HR projects (25%). The ideal candidate will possess a strong recruiting background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing the overall employee experience.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting (75%):

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions across the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to onboarding.
  • Manage the Intern program.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, and networking.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient applicant tracking system.
  • Build relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks and facilitate the offer process.

HR Project Work (25%):

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Support employee engagement and retention efforts through various projects.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives as needed.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects related to talent management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in ADP WorkforceNow required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, but within a strategic framework.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments at the same time; and know how to prioritize them.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Professional Human Resources certification strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
