What You Will Do
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Partners to develop effective talent acquisition strategies and serve as a strategic thought partner throughout the process.
- Engage with HR Partners and business leaders to understand hiring trends, anticipate hiring needs and offer a proactive approach to the recruitment process.
- Conduct regular and frequent communication with hiring managers to provide updates, respond to questions and concerns, advise on recruitment approaches and processes, and share insights and strategic perspective.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure all background checks and contingencies are progressing.
- Partner with other Talent Acquisition team members to coordinate strategies and activities to create efficiencies and collaborate on marketplace talent opportunities.
- Develop strategic search strategies highlighting recruitment approach, timelines, candidate profiles, etc. to maintain a passive talent pipeline.
- Advise managers on what a great candidate looks like and ways of engaging talent to further build relationships.
- Be a champion for Diversity in the organization and support building strategies and actions that drive a diverse candidate slate.
- Screen talent pools and confirm basic qualifications, skill set, interest, job fit, salary requirements, career pipeline and work authorization to identify qualified candidates.
- Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts; Identify target industries, companies, user groups, professional associations, or education institutions to proactively create pools of qualified candidates.
- Identify potential internal candidates and movements for select roles by partnering with HR Partners and Talent Management.
- Identify and help lead initiatives that drive hiring efficiencies and improvements to our recruitment efforts.
- Promote the *** brand to build and maintain a reputation as an Employer of Choice.
- Attend career fairs/recruiting events when applicable and as appropriate.
- Assist with other recruitment tasks and related projects, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or equivalent
- 6-8 years of experience in full cycle recruiting within a large corporate environment
- Experience recruiting high volume hourly and salaried positions
- Experience with candidate screening, evaluation, scheduling, and active participation in interview processes
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems required; Workday experience preferred
- Customer centric focus on the hiring manager, candidate, and customer experience
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and demonstrated proficiency with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms
- Proven ability to attract and recruit diverse pools of talent
- Skilled in sourcing both active and passive talent using innovative methods
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Immigration sponsorship and relocation are not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hands-on experience using Workday as an Applicant Tracking System
- Ability to demonstrate a successful record of using rapport-building skills (listening, probing, persuading) in previous recruiting assignments
- Ability to effectively use interviewing techniques to evaluate candidates’ qualifications in relation to the position requirements to determine a successful match and provide accurate, actionable feedback to hiring managers
- Working knowledge of OFCCP requirements, employment laws and hiring practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships
- Strong interpersonal and relatability skills to help in managing diverse personalities
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in working with multiple partners and key stakeholders
- Must project poise and confidence
- Strong sense of urgency with a proactive attitude
- Experience handling sensitive/confidential information
