Reporting directly to the Talent & Organizational Development Manager, the Recruiter is responsible to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates through full life cycle recruiting processes. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Credentials, Licenses: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. Kind & Length of Experience: 3+ years recruiting/talent acquisition experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. High energy level and a sense of creativity to effectively match candidates with the company's needs, and to positively represent CNA's vision and values A good understanding of sourcing and selection techniques Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as an Applicant Tracking System. Strong social media technology background, including LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. Strong interview skills Ability to multitask, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and can make critical decisions while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and departments simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional business leaders. Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong team-building skills and be a positive contributor in a team environment. Available to work before and after standard office hours as work requires. Knowledgeable of employment laws. PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS Identify active and passive candidates through various recruiting and staffing resources including advertising, social media, universities, career events, job fairs, etc. Seek and implement innovative methods to identify and attract qualified candidates. Create and prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards, colleges, etc. Assist in the design of recruitment materials and selection process. Collaborate with hiring managers in determining staffing needs to support the business. Communicate with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting methods. Process pre-employment background checks, verifications, and drug test Develop respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current and future opportunities; manage a pipeline of candidates. Negotiate job offers with candidates, advise hiring managers in the negotiation process. Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Coordinate travel related details for potential candidates Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities. Establish university partnerships and plan campus presence, coordinate and attend college and community recruiting events. Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs and on-campus recruiting events.
