Director of Human Resources

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and systems aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws across multiple states.

Leadership & M& A:

  • Partner with senior leadership on mergers and acquisitions, leading HR integration.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to drive growth and employee engagement.

Team Development:

  • Mentor and develop HR team members for future leadership roles.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive work environment.

Talent & Culture:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Drive engagement initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.

Compensation & Relations:

  • Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Promote employee satisfaction through effective relations strategies.

What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7-10+ years of HR experience, with a strong background in leadership roles and hands-on HR management.
  • Significant experience with mergers and acquisitions, including HR due diligence and integration.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop HR staff, particularly in a small to mid-sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices across multiple states.
  • Experience with recruitment and retention strategies
