We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a HR Director in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will be playing a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and retention, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee open enrollment process to ensure smooth employee experience
• Implement and manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
• Evaluate and optimize HR processes for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, PMLA, and Organizational Handbook guidelines
• Manage day-to-day employee communications, fostering a positive work environment
• Utilize ADP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint for HR management and reporting
• Manage a team of 5-7, reporting to the Director of HR
• Leverage HRMS and HCM systems for efficient HR operations
• Manage employee relations, addressing any issues promptly and professionally
• Communicate effectively with C-Suite and other key stakeholders within the organization.• Extensive experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry
• Proven track record as an HR Director or similar senior HR role
• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Solid understanding of Human Capital Management (HCM) and Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS)
• Expertise in managing benefit functions within an organization
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Experience in working with and advising C-Suite executives
• Proven abilities in managing employee relations and fostering a positive work environment
