We are offering an exciting opportunity in San Diego, California, for an HR Generalist to join our team. You will be involved in various HR functions across the company, ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws. You will also be responsible for managing the recruitment and onboarding process, addressing employee relations issues, and handling legal compliance aspects.
Responsibilities:
• Leading the development, implementation, and oversight of HR policies to align with company objectives and labor laws.
• Managing the entire recruitment cycle, from job postings and candidate screening to conducting interviews.
• Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires, including completion of all necessary documentation and training.
• Serving as the primary contact for employee concerns, creating a supportive environment, and providing guidance on company policies.
• Keeping abreast of U.S. and Mexican labor laws to ensure HR practices are compliant with all relevant regulations.
• Handling legal aspects related to employee contracts, terminations, and workplace policies.
• Developing and implementing systems for detail-oriented review, supporting detail-oriented development, and fostering a culture of feedback and growth.
• Coordinating the offboarding process, ensuring compliance and a smooth transition, including conducting exit interviews and finalizing documentation.
• Facilitating effective bilingual communication across the organization to support both English and Spanish speakers.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and generating reports on workforce trends, turnover, and compliance metrics.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is a must
• Familiarity with Ceridian software is beneficial
• Competency in using Dayforce is highly valued
• Understanding of Benefit Functions is essential
• Excellent Communication skills are required
• Demonstrable knowledge of Compliance policies and procedures is imperative
• Strong skills in Employee Relations are necessary
• Knowledge of FMLA and its application is important
