We are searching for an HR Business Partner to join our Non-Profit team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in developing and implementing HR processes, practices, and programs to help maximize the achievement of our organizational goals. You will also be responsible for talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, and managing HR data and records. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR processes, practices, and programs
• Assist in the effective execution of talent acquisition, performance management, talent management and development
• Contribute to the total rewards & recognition, training, organization effectiveness, data and record management programs
• Support large scale department and organization HR, organizational design and change management initiatives
• Counsel people leaders consistent with organizational policies/practices, legal considerations, and priorities
• Assist leaders in promoting proactive changes to successfully address a rapidly changing external environment
• Research, analyze, and respond to leader and employee questions regarding HR policies and processes
• Assist leaders with job description creation/updates and compensation analysis
• Act as an internal consultant in addressing issues and facilitating resolution
• Work with senior HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of HR projects/programs
• Conduct exit interviews for departing employees, review and assess key reasons for separation, investigate concerns, identify themes, and proactively work to address issues
• Support HR data/reporting needs for client groups and the organization, including analysis of HR Processes and programs and reporting findings and solutions for improvement.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Business Partner role
• Proficiency in core HR functions and responsibilities
• In-depth knowledge in managing employee benefits functions
• Experience in aligning HR strategies with business unit objectives
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Thorough understanding of compliance laws and regulations related to HR
• Proven track record in handling employee relations and investigations
• Experience in labor and employee relations
• Expertise in performance management and employee evaluations
• Demonstrated experience in organizational development
• Experience in managing organizational changes and transitions
• Ability to create and interpret organizational charts
• Experience in organizational design and restructuring
• Expertise in organizational change management
• Proven success in leading and implementing organizational initiatives
• Strong organizational management skills
