We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be focusing on the execution of robust integrated HR strategies, primarily managing Employee Relations (ER) related tasks. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial intake for complaints, conduct interviews, and collaborate with the team to develop an action plan for ER related concerns.
• Undertake administrative tasks such as processing terminations, making changes within HR management systems.
• Organize documents, create documents related to ER work.
• Assist in program management or project assistance.
• Collaborate with senior HR Business Partners in organizational design activities to implement new organization structures, roles, and processes.
• Lead projects focusing on building career paths and job frameworks within assigned client groups.
• Provide expertise, consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers to address employee behavior and performance concerns.
• Conduct employee relations investigations, gather and analyze facts, apply relevant laws, policies, and past practices, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for employee relations inquiries.
• Contribute to expanding the workforce diversity of assigned client groups and fostering inclusive leadership practices within those groups.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian software
• Ability to work with HRMS
• Prior use of the About Time software
• Auditing skills
• Experience conducting Background Checks
• Understanding and handling of Benefit Functions
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience in Employee Relations
• Excellent Coordination skills
• Experience in Performance Management
• Capable of providing Administrative Oversight
