Position: HR Onboarding Coordinator
Location: Portland, OR (Fully Onsite)
Duration: Temporary (6 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual (Occasional floor visits)
Compensation: $22-$28 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Hiring Support:
- Review job applications and screen candidates for hourly positions.
- Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to select top candidates.
- Provide interview feedback and update candidate statuses in HR system.
- Onboarding Coordination:
- Organize pre-employment screenings and physicals.
- Ensure background check documents are completed and submitted.
- Facilitate orientation sessions, including safety training.
- Distribute uniforms, PPE, and other necessary gear to new hires.
- Inform department leads about new hires’ start dates and details.
- Assist new employees with system access and building entry cards.
- Temporary Staffing:
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies to coordinate temp workers.
- Help with hourly employee exits and conduct exit interviews.
- Employee Tracking:
- Track important milestones such as sign-on bonuses and referral bonuses.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in staffing, HR, or administrative roles.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in recruitment or onboarding is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
