This position HR Business Partner is both a consultative and hands-on role supporting a team of HR Professionals who provide full cycle Human Resources support to our organization. The role is critical in providing timely and effective support and guidance to managers and leaders on organizational effectiveness, coaching, executing on our people initiatives and driving operational excellence through performance management.

As a HR Business Partner you will work closely with managers across Docusign executing HR initiatives to drive innovation, growth and organizational effectiveness. The ability to identify, advise and support the people implications of our HR execution is a must.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr Director, HR Business Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for leaders in support of their people strategy and execution of people initiatives
  • Oversee the execution of the processes that support and enhance employee performance
  • Provide administrative support related to annual HR related activities such as promotion cycles and calibration
  • Support HRBP Leads with the delivery of strategic plans to optimize and improve our talent portfolio
  • Coach managers on leadership and talent issues including development, engagement, and elevating performance
  • Establish a two-way communication channel to receive employee/manager feedback
  • Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure a positive employee experience
  • Work closely with Finance and Talent Acquisition organizations on critical headcount planning
  • Support a variety of HR related activity and programs such as performance review cycles, focal/merit planning and talent review
  • Build organizational capability through development and/or facilitation of appropriate learning outcomes (i.e., team effectiveness, goal development and alignment, manager capability, etc.)
  • Deliver candid feedback and constructive coaching on an ongoing basis to business leaders in order to help them progress most efficiently towards goals

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 5+ years of HR Business Partnering experience in SaaS or related industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent field

Preferred

  • Willingness to learn at pace
  • Ability to seamlessly deliver and execute new HR tactics using sound analysis and impact metrics to support people related decision-making
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor/consultant that can influence without authority
  • Self-starter with project coordination skills, ability to grasp the deliverables, identify key risks, and cooperate with all parties to achieve goals in a fast-changing environment
  • Comfortable with setting/delivering against ambitious targets, analyzing the status quo, planning a course of action, executing rapid trial error and constantly improving
  • Great communicator team-worker. Comfortable navigating global organization structures aligning objectives with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to solve problems and identify root causes of various HR issues
  • Strong solutions’ focus and being comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $114,200.00 - $177,100.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus and benefits.
