Job Description
We are providing an opportunity for a Regional Director of HR in the manufacturing industry, based in Hopkins, Minnesota. This opportunity requires weekly travel to their plant locations. The role involves key duties such as enhancing a people-first culture, guiding HR professionals across the business, and managing career growth in partnership with the Director of Talent Management.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize various tools to nurture a collaborative and customer-focused culture with engaged employees.
• Guide HR professionals within the business to evolve into high-performing business partners.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs supporting essential HR initiatives.
• Identify leadership and talent gaps, development opportunities, and internal mobility options by understanding the talent pool.
• Collaborate in the facilitation of succession management, high potential retention, and closing the readiness gap.
• Serve as a business partner to specific leaders in Supply Chain/Operations and Corporate leaders for all HR related projects, processes, and employee relations concerns.
• Partner effectively across the internal HR organization and with the shared services to promote efficient solutions.
• Foster a sense of urgency in executing business plans, while emphasizing transparency, empowerment, and accountability throughout the organization.
• Ensure the right culture, processes, and measurements are in place to drive the actions required to deliver results.
• Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
• Develop strategies for talent retention, development, and attraction.
• Act as an advisor and coach for performance management and measurement.
• Facilitate communication from HR to the company.
• Evaluate acquisition, diligence & integration in relation to Supply Chain capabilities.
• Drive strategic initiatives for Employee & Labor relations.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and government reporting regulations affecting HR matters
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the HR field, preferably within the manufacturing industry• Proficiency in Human Capital Management (HCM) and Human Resources Management System (HRMS)
• Demonstrated expertise in handling benefit functions
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance related to HR
• Proven ability to work with C-Suite executives and influence strategic decisions
• Significant experience in managing employee relations and conducting employee relations investigations
• Proficiency in using UKG Pro software
• Proven track record of promoting high levels of employee engagement
• Expertise in labor employee relations, including negotiation and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with the manufacturing sector and its unique HR needs
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed for the role
